Have you ever had this feeling? You woke up in the morning and felt like going to some places that you’ve been itching to visit. Well, i woke up this morning and having this wanderlust-syndrome. Destination: JAPAN
I’ve done a lot of web-surfing, asked people who visited and worked in this lovely place and even prepared notes of “what-to-do-in-Japan-list” I even have the sticker written in Japanese character “I-sell-tofu” at the rear window of my car. If you’re an INITIAL-D fan,
you know what I mean. Yes, I have great obsession of visiting this country. Yes, I go gaga over Japan!
Who wouldn’t right? We always have this impression of Japan as a place of crazy, enigmatic, alluring and simply magical place to visit, not to mention this country brags the robotic inventions, latest gadget and widget to make every human salivates.

Imagine in the middle of Japan’s busiest street. Ogling and feasting your eyes with the Jap-peeps (Japanese people) they have their own fashion which is the Japanese street style, you’ll encounter some wearing bohemian luxe , some in vintage couture What I will love best is to see young generations wearing the most eccentric and exciting outfits

They brought into life. It’s like they’re wearing what we can only get to watch in anime shows and read in manga books. and that place is called Harajuku, Tokyo. people are dressed like sailormoon, punk rock glam. they go shopping around the corner wearing French-maid outfits! That’s kinky right? Haha.. some young couples even wearing the same kimono-clad outfit!
And oh, guy’s fantasy *winks* young jap girls wearing their school uniforms. Knee length socks. Mini skirts, tops half unbuttoned and faces of innocent angels. I it will blow you away! Haha!

And they also have what they called Ganguros they are kinda scary (for me), you know how we envy Japanese white-white complexion, these girls opt to get a super dark tan color, on top of that wears super dark foundation/powder then white eye shadows and white lipsticks.

Oh I forgot they dyed their hair to extreme colors like super yellow or raging red sometimes a combination of both.
Get fascinate with their vendo machines,
crazy subway system, dance like Jap-peeps! rock your head and jump while listening to Jap-pop rock music! get crazy and be like japaneezee!!! hundred yen store with crazy shoes, hats, clothes and bags! then let's go watching sumo wrestler do their thing and shake their oomfaloomfah butt hahaha...
or imagine yourself as one of the geishas!
oh, Japanese boys that looks like hentai boys *wicked-grin* tons and tons of Purikura
those are the neo-print booths. Which are really great! it comes with different outfit , wigs, and hats inside. Then you edit and modify the pictures, you can add some sparkles that will really print or come out with real sparkle designs. Girls dig this. We find small joys in these neo-print booths. I I've heard that their 7-11 convenience stores sell IPODS
just hanging on the rack along with the batteries and junk foods. Cool…
Have you heard their love-hotels?
Oh, man I love to visit these. If Amsterdam has red-light district, Tokyo, Japan has their own Kabuki-cho!
If the Japanese people have great fetishes and kinky lifestyle, you couldnt imagine how kinkier their love-hotels are.
“Entrances are discreet and interaction with staff is minimized, with rooms often selected from a panel of buttons and the bill settled by pneumatic tube, automatic cash machines, or a pair of hands behind a pane of frosted glass. While cheaper love hotels are utilitarian, higher-end hotels may feature fanciful rooms decorated with cartoon characters, equipped with vibrating beds, or decked out like dungeons complete with gear.
Love hotel architecture is sometimes garish, with buildings shaped like castles, boats or UFOs and lit up with lurid pink and purple neon lighting. However, many love hotels are very ordinary looking buildings, distinguished mainly by having small or covered windows.” (taken from wikipedia)
*winkz* Love-hotels were more commonly known here in the Philippines as “mot-mot” , “motel” or “biglang-liko”
I’m dreaming that someday I could have a long and lingering walk into their parks filled with “Sakura” or the infamous cherry blossoms tree..
sit closely and get lost into this beautiful sight to behold. Sadly, you could only best enjoy this tree full bloom only the months of March and April,
Sakura trees intense beauty have short survival span.that usually Japanese correlates with the existence of human beauty and life.
I

I will also try pigging out with authentic Japanese food! The sushis and sashimis! Yum! beef bowls like the one in Yoshinoyas, their tonkatsus and yakitoris made into perfection that is sooo tender it will literally melts in your mouth.
I have so much more to tell you and share the things I would love to do.I hope someday I could visit this wonderful place, a place where you can get lost in translation and have sensory overload at the same time. The vibrant, dazzling and animated experience that this small country promises to every wanderlust creatures.
