This was In AFP (arm forces of the Philippines) medical center
Kids, Ages 2 to 12 years old it’s either they have leukemia or cancer-stricken
Some were under meticulous observation. Some were in the process of chemotherapy or treatment Some were, um… just waiting for that “time” to come.
Kids their age should be playing and having fun, exploring life and discovering the world.
I felt rage inside me, that life may be unfair. They should not be lying on their beds for weeks…. Waiting for a good sign of chances to live
Going through the pain over and over again
Praying that the chemotherapy might help and improve their condition,
Taking risks and chances to live because of the traitor condition.
God knows, you can see through their eyes that these kids are scared yet hopeful.
That day change my outlook in life. We should be thankful.. really Grateful.
That we are healthy, we are able to enjoy life, ride the rollercoaster, scream on top of our lungs, eat ice cream, get out of the bed every morning, jump around, enjoy the sunrise and sunset. Waiting for our true love? The right choices? The perfect career?
Those simple things in life we tend to overlook and simple things we overly troubled ourselves
Come to think of it! These kids are just waiting for their final moment in this world
